Jets' third-ranked rush defense stops opponents in tracks

Of all the rotten defensive games over the past seven years, perhaps the Jets' low point occurred last Nov. 4 in an overtime loss to the Redskins. With two former Jets on their offensive line, the Skins rushed for 296 yards. It left scars. "Maybe it's macho or bravado, but you want to stop the run.
