Kellen Clemens appeared a bit chagrined on Wednesday when asked to respond to a comment made by CBS analyst Steve Tasker, who said during Sunday's telecast that Clemens "sometimes gets skittish" in the pocket. Tasker made the remark after Clemens, perhaps leaving the pocket too soon, took a first-quarter sack in the Jets' win over the Dolphins.
"I'm sure that Mr. Tasker is making the best evaluation that he can," Clemens said. "It's my job to go out and play. I'm making the decisions the best I can in the spur of the moment. Sometimes they're correct, and there are other times when they're not, but I'm out there doing the best I can." Clemens believes he made the right decision on the play in question. Continue
